SOSE

I worked as a visiting faculty in Schools of Secondary Education (SOSEs) in Rohini and Dwarka as a part of a pilot project undertaken by the Delhi Government & Srishti Manipal to inculcate design thinking in government schools for students in class 11th & 12th.

Our work was primarily hands-on and focused on developing conceptual thinking. The branding course introduced them to various skills and basics of graphic design - typography, color theory, compositions - that would help them navigate their interests in Fine Arts and apply them to this industry by weaving coherent stories for their brands. A lot of the work and experience of this project reflected the interventions in my undergraduate thesis, which made this project particularly eye-opening and intriguing.

The students worked with a combination of analog materials & digital media. to understand basics of graphic design through building their own brand identities. They explored constructing a coherent visual language for their brand and even explored packaging design.
